A trusted adult, teacher or parent

The first place to visit for support should always be a responsible and trusted adult in your life. Whether that is a parent, teacher, guardian, family member or someone in your community - please consider speaking to them first.

It is important to remember that you are not alone and there is support out there. Even in your school there may be services
and help that you are not aware of. Please ask.

Please note: Empathy Studios and our team are only able to signpost organisations and services and cannot respond personally to individual requests.

Support Organisations

Have you been triggered or affected by what you've seen and talked about? Here's a list of organisations, helplines and information pages where you can get support.

Young Minds gives young people tools to take care of their mental health. Their website has lots of advice and tips on what to do if you're finding it hard to cope with your feelings. They also help parents and adults who work with young people so they can be the best support possible.

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is working to stop suicide. In the UK, 125 people die by suicide every week, and 75% of them are men.

CALM is here to change that by offering free, private helplines and webchats, community support, and awareness campaigns.

Research Report Teasers (1).png

They offer free, confidential support through a national helpline, online tools, and local services to help you deal with the tough feelings that come with losing someone. They also have short, helpful videos, like this one on understanding grief & how to manage it.
